As problem solvers, we all need mental models to understand the different dimensions of our problems better. With the help of useful models, we can better estimate the optimum approaches to solve the problem at hand.
We can also use these mental models to find similar problems encountered by other people and use them as a guide. Even though these similar problems are not in the same context, they help us find a better strategy than being stuck in the problem.
